Roach

In the US, a roach is what you call the small bit of a joint or blunt left when you have almost finished smoking it. Usually a blunt or joint becomes a roach once it is difficult or impossible to hold. Roaches are thick with resin and thus still potent. At this point a roach clip can be used to finish smoking the roach. Roaches can also be smoked on their own or with more weed in a bowl. Some consider roach smoking to be beggarly because they are rich fucks.
In the UK and Australia, a roach is a folded cardboard spacer in the end of the joint, used to max out the weed you smoke.
