Potato Pipe

A potato pipe is just what it sounds like, a pipe made out of a potato. Potatoes, like apples and other fruits and vegetables, are actually quite fun to smoke out of. Potato pipes are wonderful devices; they are incredibly cheap, they can be disposed of very easily in case of police, they are easy to make and use, and they work very well. You also don't have to be over 18 to buy them, and it's not a huge deal if you break a potato.

• A large, fresh potato (such as a Russet (which has a PLU of 4072, also known as Solanum tuberosum))
• A knife, screwdriver, or other sharp object that can be used for carving.
• Weed
• Fire
• Something to make a bowl with (a socket, foil, trumpet mouthpiece, etc)
• Screens

1. Carve a channel into the potato from one end to make the chamber - DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE POTATO
2. Carefully carve a bowl out of the top of the potato and join it to the main channel - AGAIN, DO NOT GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH
3. Carve a third, small hole on the side to make a carb. Consider how you will hold the potato when smoking to determine where to locate the carb. Be sure to connect the carb to the chamber.
4. If you can, use a socket or foil (or anything else) to make a more respectable bowl. Aluminum foil can cause Alzheimer's if heated and inhaled.
5. Add weed.
6. Add fire and suction to smoke.
7. Repeat steps 5-6 as desired.
