Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant that is active in the Central Nervous System and interacts with the signals sent to the muscles that cause them to tighten. It is often given to patients who suffer from pain and muscle spasms resulting from whiplash type injuries, and is effective at treating symptoms of fibromyalgia. It also works wonders at knocking you unconscious when enough is taken, otherwise it is a mild sedative.
Cyclobenzaprine is marketed as:
- Apo-Cyclobenzaprine (10 mg tablets)
- Flexeril (5 and 10 mg tablets) (Available as generic)
- Fexmid (7.5 mg tablet) (Available as generic)
- Amrix as a once a day ER (15 or 30 mg capsules)

[edit] Dosage
Doses are for those without tolerance. Remember, a recreational dose will vary from person to person depending on a variety of factors, such as build and interactions with other legal or illegal substances, including prescription medications. Best to check Google first. If you are mixing prescription medications. Check out this website: http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.php . Some of their interactions that they mention are a little too much or they are being cautious but its a good utility to have in case you ever need to check.
Cyclobenzaprine should NOT be taken along with any MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitor), as it could result in fatality.
Taken sublingually, cyclobenzaprine is noticeable within a few minutes, and is most often the preferred ROA. Take note, however, that dissolved cyclobenzaprine WILL make your mouth and tongue NUMB. This effect lasts for upwards of an hour, and isn't usually a problem unless you're retarded and bite your tongue a lot.
